Synopsis

It's never a good day when an ancient demon shows up on your toilet bowl . . .

For Lizzie Brown, that's just the beginning. Soon her hyperactive terrier starts talking, and her long-lost biker witch Grandma is hurling Smuckers jars filled with magic. Just when she thinks she's seen it all, Lizzie learns she's a demon slayer-and all hell is after her.

Of course, that's not the only thing after her. Dimitri Kallinikos, a devastatingly handsome shape-shifting griffin needs Lizzie to slay a demon of his own. But how do you talk a girl you've never met into going straight to the underworld? Lie. And if that doesn't work, how dangerous could a little seduction be . . . ?

Jenny had always tried to convince her friend Serena to get a tattoo but Serena wasn't sure what kind of tattoo she wanted. While Serena was looking through a book of tattoos, a picture of a man fell out.

Serena was warned about the art work of the man being magical but she didn't care. She wanted the portrait of the man with blue eyes tattooed on her back. As Serena went to sleep she was woken up by someone touching her. When she realized it was the guy that she had tattooed on her back after seeing his gorgeous blue eyes, she knew she had to be dreaming!

Was Serena only dreaming of being with this guy or did her tattoo really come to life?

Hex Education By: Emily Gould & Zareen Jaffery

Hex Education was a very enjoyable read from the first page to the end. I didn't want this story to end. The plot of this story kept my interest the whole time while reading this book.

This story has a little bit of everything. Good witches, bad witch, spells, good friends and wonderful characters you will not forget.

I would love to read more books by these two authors.

This was my first Young Adult read and it won't be my last. Emily Gould & Zareen Jaffery got me wanting to read more YA and more books by them. I look forward to more books by these authors.
